Focus: Study of the Vietnam War during the Nixon years.

Outcomes: 1. to demonstrate knowledge of historical events of American combat in Vietnam. 2. to acquire knowledge of the actions of the participants during the Nixon years. 3. to analyze and interpret those events in order to show how they effected the U.S. experience in Vietnam. 4. to discuss the changing role of the soldier, government, allies, and enemy during the Nixon years.
