Student Outcomes: 1. to demonstrate knowledge of historical events of American combat in Vietnam. 2. to acquire knowledge of the actions of the participants during the Nixon years. 3. to analyze and interpret those events in order to show how they effected the U.S. experience in Vietnam. 4. to discuss the legacy of the war on the U.S., the Southeast Asians, and the soldiers who fought.
